I would just like to state that I am in a heterosexual marriage and that in no way is it threatened by anyone else getting married, whether they have similar or dissimilar genitalia. I also would like to state that those who are trying to "protect" my marriage by denying the right to marry to gay people can kiss my ass and take their bigotry someplace else.

Wouldn't it be nice if all the energy invested in that stupidity was expended in support of uninsured children getting health care or finding safe living situations for the homeless or finding an alternative fuel to combat global warming?

I'm hopeful that the California ballot initiative will be resoundingly defeated and will become the tipping point for the rest of the country.
