Dear Chef at my work cafe:
I'm not sure I agree with your train of thought when you marinated a chicken breast in blasamic vinegar, grilled it, threw it on top of some basmati rice, sprinkled some chopped spinach, tomatoes and cucumber on it and then said "Ooh, I know what THIS needs! Chopped up cantaloupe!" You had me until the cantaloupe. The chicken is delicious, the rice is good, if a little dry and I could do without the tomatoes and cucumber, but they don't really detract that much. I'd have preferred the spinach to be cooked and more plentiful. The cantaloupe, however, is just WRONGE and weird. Also, I didn't have the feta that was supposed to be on top. I'm thinking maybe you thought it would tie everything together, but I'm not convinced.
Love,
Me
