A "modest starter house" (3 br, 2.0 baths) in my neighborhood (not even in the most desirable part of my neighborhood) is $1,199,000.
I'm not even kidding. This is from a newsletter i get from a local realtor.
Unless we win the lottery, we will never be able to afford an actual house in this area.

ginmar said in this post really clearly articulates, to me, what the whole pro/anti-choice debate is about.
When people argue that men should be granted more choices than dictated by logic and Nature, they are in fact trying to give men special rights over a woman's body and life.
