What was UP with Tilda Swinton's dress? DO NOT WANT!

And why did Nicole Kidman wear that long necklace, when the shorter one alone would have been so much nicer? And she's a bit pale to pull off the black. Is that what I look like in all black? :-\

There was a lot of red and a lot of black. Don't usually see a lot of black on Oscar dresses.

But OMG, what was UP with Katherine Heigl's makeup? And she gave the award for makeup! Did they not look at her in the light?

LOVED Jessica Alba's dress. So pretty and flowy.

ETA: HOW could I forget about Jennifer Hudson's rack poor choice of stylists?

And I wish Ellen Page had had someone find her a nicer dress. That one was just blah.

I've seen lots of stick-thin people who appear quite normal and healthy (and ARE quite normal and healthy). Poor Renee isn't one of them - at least in those photos. But that is the standard girls (and women) hold themselves too, and it is just really sad.
